ABOUT
Alice Devine lectures at the University of California, Berkeley in the Haas School of Business. In addition, she works on the career advising team for the Nancy and Douglas Abbey Master of Real Estate Development + Design (MRED+D) students at UC Berkeley's College of Environmental Design.
Alice's professional experience includes in-house real estate leasing and management for developer William Wilson & Associates (now EQ Office) with responsibility for a one million-plus square foot, Class A office portfolio.
Alice's book, Suite Deal, the Smart Landlord's Guide to Leasing Real Estate, has won the Bruss/Robinson Award from the National Association of Real Estate Editors. She contributes regularly to NAIOP's Development magazine and has authored over 45 industry articles.
Alice holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters degree from Stanford University. She has earned the Certified Property Manager and the Real Property Administrator designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Building Owners and Managers Association respectively, and holds a California salesperson license.
At the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics, Alice serves on the Public Conferences committee. Her prior community involvement includes volunteerism on San Francisco's Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture leasing committee, as a board member of Rebuilding Together Peninsula, and as a SchoolGuide for San Francisco's Museum of Modern Art.
